Blue Monarch Line Dancers

 

 

Comprised of members throughout the Southwest region, the Blue Monarch Line Dancers are sure to get you off your feet and dancing along with them! Performing to a variety of classic tunes, as well as new age songs, you are sure to have a fun time while they are on stage!

 

 

OneVoice is an "all-occasion" community choir, that brings together members from all walks of life. Celebrate the history of Juneteenth along with them as they perform traditional and original songs, and bring to life the essence of the community spirit.

We bring High-energy stage presence...and uplifting high-vibration dance music.

Memphis Soul

 

 

This dynamic band features a solid rhythm section, an aggressive horn section, and vibrant male and female vocalists. All of the musicians are veterans of the Jazz and music scene in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. The distinguished styles of Memphis are unmistakably shown through Memphis Souls' repertoire. Memphis Soul is well versed in the styles of funk, soul, r&b, smooth jazz, blues, wedding music, jazz standards, Motown, rock and others. 

The Dazz Band

 

 

The Dazz Band is an American funk music band that was most popular in the early 1980s. Emerging from Cleveland, Ohio, the group's biggest hit songs include the Grammy Award-winning "Let It Whip" (1982), "Joystick" (1983), and "Let It All Blow" (1984). Kids on the Hill Creative Arts Zone

 

 

Celebrate the history of Juneteenth, along with the Zula B. Wylie Library, through kid friendly creative art performances and hands on activities such as crafts, storytelling, creative dancing, and much more. Visit our community vendors to learn more about Juneteenth and create a souvenir to take home with you. A variety of acts will peform on the Kids on the Hill Creative Arts stage. See below for additional information about each performer and schedule:

6:45pm Ballet Folklorico Dancers, an organization which helps develop self-esteem, discipline and goal setting through dance and the arts while having fun!

Kids Activities

 

 

Your kids are sure to find something fun to do with all the activities offered at this year's Juneteenth Arts & Music Festival! In addition to the creative arts zone, kids can bounce all night in our inflatable obstacle course, play a game of dodge ball, build a sand castle in our large sand pit, or even participate in the latest craze, Bubble Ball!

Cruisers Club Car Show

 

 

The Cruiser Club of Red Oak provides a wide display of classic vehicles from the 40's, 50's, 60's and so on. Members of the club will host a Car Show at the Juneteenth event benefiting local Cedar Hill charities. For additional information on the club or car show, visit www.thecruisersclub.com.
