Price
Juneteenth is a family FREE event and there is no cost associated with admission. Food and drinks will be available for purchase from our variety of vendors. Enjoy this special event on us and invite your family and friends!
Parking
Over 800 parking spots are available near and around Valley Ridge Park. Shuttle service will be available for the parking lots not within walking distance.
Seating
All seating is outdoors and is first come, first serve. Seating is considered festival viewing. Blankets, cushions, and chairs may be brought in, but please keep in mind that patrons may be standing in front of you during a performance. Chairs should be low to the ground and backs should be shoulder heighth.
We want all attendees to enjoy the concert! Be respectful of people around you and get to know your neighbors during this time of celebration.
Weather
Juneteenth is a rain or shine event. Some activities and performances may be postponed or canceled if the weather is not permitting. Please refer to the Cedar Hill Parks and Recreation Department Facebook page for the latest weather updates, or call (972) 480-5868. If there is inclement weather, please seek shelter in your vehicle or covered areas on site.
Lost and Found
Lost and found is located at the informational booth near the main entrance and items are kept until the end of the festival. Any inquiries after the conclusion of the event should contact the Parks and Recreation Department at (972) 291-5130.
